As a PhD-level civil engineer with over ten years of experience in teaching, research, and practice, I offer in-depth expertise in building physics, energy optimization for buildings, and preventive fire protection. My mission: scientifically sound solutions, practically implemented.

Who I Am

My name is Dr.-Ing. Alexander Peikos. I studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where I also completed my doctorate and worked for many years as a research associate and postdoc at the Chair of Building Physics. In parallel, I established my own engineering consultancy early on, taking on fire protection design and expert opinions – with a clear commitment to quality, reliability, and personalized consultation.

As a multiple award winner of the Bavarian Construction Industry University Prize (Hochschulpreis des Bayerischen Baugewerbes) and author of numerous publications in the fields of building physics and smart home technology, I combine scientific rigor with real-world engineering competence.
